May Seminar 2017: Gauteng South Branch

Dear colleagues,

May seminars are a platform created to familiarise the sector with the current LIASA President’s theme and to allow research and information sharing across the sector on the theme.

This years goals of the seminar are:

– To (re)align libraries with the UN 2030 Agenda and the NDP

– To create capacity and to enhance skills so that librarians can develop and implement advocacy agendas

– To create programmes and partnerships that will support these developmental agendas.

LIASA Gauteng South would like to invite you to our May seminar to be held on the 31st of May 2017.

The charismatic immediate past president, Ms Segametsi Molawa will be in the house addressing members under the theme “The critical role of Advocacy in libraries”.
