Dear Ms Terry
Thank you very much for your message of condolence and support for South African colleagues during this time of national loss. The international outpouring of sorrow and loss at the death of former President Nelson Mandela has shown how he belonged to the world, not just South Africa.
Cuba has been a long term friend and partner to South Africa, and will be represented by President Raul Castro at the state funeral. This mark of respect is highly appreciated.
These have been a sad days. We bid farewell to Mandela who changed the course of history for your country and for the world.
My deep condolence. His action and his thought will eternally be present, specially in our world, so needed of social justice.
QUE VIVA MANDELA!!
