As part of their aims to promote activities that will result in contact and liaison between LIS workers, LIASA publishes a magazine named LIASA-IN-TOUCH, which is a quarterly (four times a year) publication with items of interests about people and events in the library and information world.
LIASA-IN-TOUCH has a circulation of 2 000 and is read by more than 5 000 library and information workers as it is widely distributed to institutional members such as universities, technikons, special, research and public libraries as well as information centres in Southern Africa and overseas countries.
LIASA encourages advertising in the magazine to inform its readers of available products and services in the library and information sector and staff vacancies all over the country. For advertisers, LIASA-IN-TOUCH is ideally suited for reaching a select and specialised market at advertising rates far below those of the national press.
