Seminar on Open Access by the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, 27 July 2015

  • Have you ever wondered, “Should I Publish in an Open Access Journal?”
  • Do you want to find out what you can gain from Open Access as a publishing researcher or academic who wants to start publishing?
  • Do you know how to distinguish between accredited and predatory journals?

Find answers to these and other questions by attending the free Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University Seminar on The Road to Promoting Open Access to Researchers in Academic Institutions

Open Access (OA) publications reduce permission requirements and eliminate price barriers for researchers by allowing access without a subscription.  Research indicates that OA literature receives more citations than subscription publications.
