You are cordially invited to a once-off Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) training opportunity in Pretoria

Venue:            Merensky Library Auditorium

                        University of Pretoria, Hatfield Campus

Cost:  R850 per day for LIASA members; R1000 for non-members

Limited seats. Registration will be confirmed on a first come, first served basis and upon receipt of proof of payment.

Programme

Day 1: Theory of subject organisation; principles and structure of the DDC system, the glossary, manual, tables, schedules and index

Day 2: Practical classification: conceptual analysis, standard subdivisions, etc.
