Every 2 years LIASA elects a new leadership, as per our Constitution. 2020, being the unprecedented year it became, saw the first break with this process, when elections was postponed to 2021.

 

According to our constitution, in an election year, the Voters’ Roll closes on 31 May of that year. This means that only members who are paid up by this date are eligible to be nominated for an Executive Committee position, or may nominate someone for such a position. This same process applies to positions at a Branch Executive level as well as an Interest Group level.
