ABOUT SOUTH AFRICAN LIBRARIANS' DAY

In 2014 LIASA’s anniversary, 10 July, was declared a special day dedicated to celebrate librarians. All LIS workers are encouraged to celebrate the day in their own special way. The day is also used to raise awareness of the profession, and the value added by librarians and library workers. 

HOW TO ENTER THE LUCKY DRAW

To enter tell us in no more than 150 words why you love being in the LIS profession.

Submit your entry, and a clear, colour, head and should photograph on the form below or email it to sald@liasa.org.za. this together with the person’s full name, place of work, LIASA membership number and a good quality head and shoulder photograph.

Closing date for submissions: Friday 8 July 2022 at 23:59

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. To qualify for this lucky draw you must be a 2022 paid up individual LIASA member. 
2. Members of LIASA EXCO, National Office staff and the organising committee are not eligible to enter the lucky draw.
3. Recipients of the lucky draw vouchers will be drawn at random using an online random number generator.
4. The lucky draw vouchers are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.
5. Late, incomplete, and submission not received through the right channels will be disqualified.
6. Lucky draw recipients’ names may be published on LIASA Social Media and other communication channels.
7. The recipients will receive details of the lucky draw voucher via email or telephone within 7 days of being selected. The voucher will be forfeited if the LIASA National Office failed to reach the recipient within 14 days of being selected. In such a case an alternative name will be drawn.
8. The decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
