The seminar will address topics relevant to marketing of  libraries and information services.

Programme Objectives:

• To empower library staff with the following information:
  • Preparing for a radio interview / public speaking
  • Dress for success:  tips on planning your wardrobe (image consultant)
  • Visual marketing:  tools available for Librarians (use of video clips)
  • Social media:  the role you play (how to boost posts, analysing the target group etc.

Learning Outcomes:

It is envisioned that library staff will use the information they obtained from the seminar to empower themselves and have the know-how to successfully market  their library/programme/themselves on different platforms.
