Short bio about the presenter

• I was born in Kimberley in the Northern Cape Province where I also matriculated at the Adamantia High School in 1984.
• Started with my B. Bibl (ed) studies at the then University of the Orange Free State in 1985 and completed the four year degree in 1988. In my final year I was appointed by the Kovsgem community service of the university to lead a group of library science students to develop and maintain a small library at the Pelonomi hospital to provide a service for both staff members and patients at the hospital.
• January 1989 saw me working at the Free State Provincial Library Services:Kroonstad Regional Library (Now better known as the Fezile Dabi District Library) when I was appointed as librarian and I worked there till January 1991.
• Relocated to Sasolburg in February 1991 where I started at the Sasolburg Public Library as Cataloguing/ Classification and Administrative librarian.
